Completion and Handover of Brazzaville Fishery Wharf Project in the Republic of Congo

Recently, the Brazzaville Fishery Wharf Project of the Republic of Congo was successfully completed and passed the acceptance inspection, which was followed by the handover ceremony. The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Congo, the Project Coordinator of the Moroccan Ministry of Fisheries, the General Manager of Moroccan Credit Bank in the Republic of Congo, the Director of Fishery Wharf Project, Zhang Xuemei, the Business Manager of the Congo Zhengwei Company, and the Project Manager, Liu Yang. The Project Coordinator gave high praise to the project’s quality, stating that it ranked first among all similar aid projects, and expressed a desire to continue in-depth cooperation with the company in more fields.

This project is located along the Congo River and is a local livelihood project funded by the Moroccan Ministry of Fisheries. The facility includes an ice production plant, refrigerating space, sales area, recreation area, fish warehouse, machinery repair workshop and many other functional buildings. Once operational, it will greatly improve the surrounding fisheries trading market environment, contribute to increasing the local employment rates and spur local economic growth.
